2010 Michigan Defense Preview

The Michigan defense has caused just about all of us to want to rip our hair out in frustration over the past two years.  The defense was absolutely terrible even with a beloved first-round NFL draft pick in Brandon Graham constantly terrorizing the opposing quarterback.  How many times did we all watch in absolute horror as our secondary couldn’t bother to do the only thing they absolutely had to do and stay between the wide receiver and the end zone? Between losing Graham, cornerback Donovan Warren and OLB Stevie Brown, the defense definitely has some big holes to fill for this season.  Will the defense be good enough that they can help win some games?  Will the defense be so bad that Michigan is going to have to outscore everyone 45-41 just to have a chance to win?  Will we see more of the 3-3-5 that Rich Rod so famously used at West Virginia? At this point, the defense is full of questions and hopefully I’ll be able to provide some answers as I take a look at how the Wolverines stack up at each position group going into 2010...
